Local Immersion for SDG at Vanbawng (3–6 Mar.,’25)

LOCAL IMMERSION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AT VANBAWNG VILLAGE (3 – 6 March, 2025)

Govt. Saitual College has conducted three nights halts of Local Immersion for sustainable development goals at Vanbawng village. The programme come under the Chief Minister’s Bana Kaih Innovation Challenge for Higher Educational Institutions to aims not only to drive Localization of SDGs to the village level by leveraging the knowledge of HEIs but also to empower the youth to make a difference through student-ideated development initiatives. By simulating problem solving in communities through the lens of progressing towards the SDGs, students will be given a unique opportunity to learn and hone the skills necessary to lead change.
