The Alumni Committee and Alumni Association of Govt. Saitual College organized the programme to aware the students about the importance of Alumni and the activities they had for the past years and to motivate the students – especially the 2nd Semester students for their career and for their future on 14th March, 2024 @ 1:30 PM at Jubilee Hall, Govt. Saitual College.
The programme was convened by Dr. Vanrammawii as Chairperson. Resource person – Mr. JK Sanglura, the General Secretary of the Alumni Association mentioned the importance and the role that the College Alumni plays, with the Alumni Committee and the Association standing together for the betterment of the college and the students as well as to be good citizens for the society.
Another resource person, Mr. Lalnunpuia (an alumnus) started his speech by saying that he was a man of practice. He mentioned that he never plainly and simply looks at things and objects but have curiosity on how that things come into exist and was invented. He gave an inspiring and motivational speech on to know oneself and to use their capabilities, to stand on their own feet not just to depend on others as well as the government. He even introduces his invention – electric bulb named “Zan Lalnu” which is not yet launched in trying to motivate the students to have initiative mind. He delivered a speech on three important points: to be initiative, to be free from any kind of bad addictions and to care about the welfare of the environment.
